News from virtual CoD, September 26th, 2020
The International Project Management Association (IPMA) is now a federation of 72 member nations, who collaborate to promote competence in project, programme, and portfolio management across all sectors and engage stakeholders worldwide in advancing the discipline.
This year, the virtual CoD approved Ecuador (Asociación Ecuatoriana en Dirección de Proyectos) as the IPMA’s transitional association. CoD also approved Japan (The Society of Project Management Japan) and Morocco (IPMA Morocco) as a full member association. Welcome to IPMA Family!
IPMA CoD elected Joop Schefferlie (The Netherlands) for its’ new President.
During the virtual event, there were also three Vice Presidents elected: Oxana Klimenko (Russia), Yvonne Schoper (Germany), and António Andrade Dias (Portugal).
Jesus Martinez Almela (Spain) was also elected as the new Chairman of the Council.
All new mandates will start officially on January 1st, 2021.
